Finance & Expenditure Reporting

Situation

The company needed a centralized and consistent view of sales performance and operating expenditure across teams. Financial and headcount data were fragmented across systems, making it difficult for leadership to understand revenue drivers, profitability at different levels of the organization, and overall business performance.

Task

My responsibility was to design a comprehensive Power BI reporting solution that provided clear visibility into revenue, costs, and profitability across clients, recruiters, and business pods, enabling data driven financial and operational decision making.

Action

• Built Power BI dashboards to track total revenue, net margins, employee count, and overall company expenditure
• Modeled client level revenue and profitability to identify high and low-performing accounts
• Created recruiter level revenue views to assess individual contribution and productivity
• Developed pod wise revenue and profitability reporting to compare performance across business units
• Designed interactive filters and drill downs to allow leadership to analyze performance by time period, client, recruiter, and pod

Result

• Enabled leadership to gain a clear, consolidated view of company revenue, costs, and margins
