ATS System Reporting
Situation
Recruiting teams were relying on fragmented ATS data, manual CV screening, and costly third party recruiter platforms, which made it difficult to consistently identify high potential candidates and slowed down shortlisting.
Task
My responsibility was to design and deliver a data driven reporting solution that improved candidate shortlisting accuracy, reduced manual review effort, and enabled recruiters to make faster, more informed hiring decisions using existing ATS data.
Action
• Built Power BI dashboards on top of PostgreSQL based ATS data, modeling candidate, role, and application datasets to provide clear, recruiter focused views of the hiring funnel and candidate quality indicators
• Integrated AI driven candidate to role matching scores into the dashboards, enabling automated ranking and dynamic filtering of candidates based on role requirements and relevance
• Collaborated closely with data and product teams to refine dashboard design, validate assumptions with recruiters, and iteratively improve dashboard usability and clarity
• Designed visuals and filtering workflows that highlighted high aptitude candidates early in the shortlisting process, reducing the need for manual CV reviews
Result
• Improved shortlisting accuracy by consistently surfacing high potential candidates
• Reduced manual CV review time, enabling faster hiring decisions across recruiting teams
• Reduced dependency on external recruiting tools, resulting in a reduction in recruitment related costs
• Delivered a scalable and reusable reporting foundation applicable across roles, teams, and future hiring cycles
